Easy-To-Read, Interactive Inspection Report

Whichever professional home inspection service is best suited to you, you’ll get my detailed report within 48 hours of my examination of your home. You can expect precise notations, color photos, thorough explanations of my findings, illustrations when necessary to explain complex building components, and/or videos.  You’ll be easily able to access and view the entire report from any computer or mobile device. In order to streamline communication between buyers, sellers and their agents, my innovative Create Request List (CRL)™ feature will enable you to request repairs or concessions with just a few clicks. There’s space to add your own notes as well. Everyone works from the same report, ensuring all parties stay in the loop. This can save time and reduce stress — two things every homebuyer (and seller) can appreciate.

This package is ideally suited to home buyers, whether you’re purchasing a home to live in full-time, as a vacation property, or as an investment. In accordance with CREIA Standards of Practice, I will evaluate the following components and systems, when present, visible and accessible:

NADRA Deck Safety Inspection

The NADRA Deck Safety Inspection is an ancillary service available to current homeowners. We Californians love our outdoor living. Sadly, a high percentage of injuries at home occur on a deck or outdoor stairways. An unsafe deck or railing can cause falls, or even collapse entirely under the weight of furniture and people. You deserve the assurance that your deck is safe for your family and guests.
Don’t trust a deck inspection to just any home inspector. Decks take a greater beating from outdoor conditions than your home’s structural components do. As a member of the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA), I’m well versed in deck safety, materials and maintenance.

Aging- In -Place Inspection and Recommendations

Age comfortably and safely in your own home. Many families and seniors are finding they don’t have to give up the family home (and their independence) if they make some minor adjustments and modifications to their living space. For your peace of mind, my aging-in-place inspection report will help identify the homes current conditions and make recommendations for improvements for people with limitations, including recommendations for stablization bars and ramps for access.

Builder’s Warranty – 11th Month Evaluation

Building a house from the ground up is an enormous undertaking. Even the best builder can miss details when constructing a home. My 11th month inspection can help to ensure your builder corrects any defects or oversights before the warranty expires and they become your financial responsibility.
